Dyslexia Series-Disabled Legend George Patton

George Smith Patton GCB, KBE was born on 11 November, 1885 and died on 21 December, 1945. George Patton was a leading U.S. Army General in World War II in campaigns in North Africa, Sicily, France, and Germany, 1943–1945.

George did not begin his formal education until the age of 11, most likely due to dyslexia. George attended high school in Pasedena. Upon graduation, George was accepted at the Virginia Military Institute. George spent a year at VMI before being accepted to West Point.
